CHENGDU – The Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology has recognized Ya'an Bestry High-Tech Materials Co., Ltd.'s high-performance aluminum nitride powder as a "First Batch in China" new material.

The designation, announced in the 2025 provincial roster of first-set equipment, first-batch materials and first-version software, marks Bestry's second such recognition. The company received its first for spherical alumina in 2022.

The "First Batch in China" label applies to innovative materials with domestic intellectual property that fill technological gaps but have yet to reach large-scale commercial application. The recognition signals the product's potential to replace imports and compete globally.

Bestry specializes in advanced thermal conductive materials. The latest award places its nitride R&D and production capabilities at a leading domestic and internationally competitive level.
